Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 16

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 600/mt ($19/mt) during the past week to NTD 7,200-8,100/mt ($222-250/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 32,000-35,500/mt ($988-1,096/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late June shipment.
 
$1 = NTD 32.40
