Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 16

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt ($7/mt) since last week and are now quoted at NTD 10,800-11,700/mt ($358-388/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 500/mt ($17/mt) over the same period and are currently at NTD 41,000-44,500/mt ($1,359-1,475/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-June shipments.
