Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 14

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt ($11/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,300-11,000/mt ($362-387/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,283-1,371/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late April and early May shipments.
