Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 12

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 1,000/mt ($35/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,000-10,700/mt ($349-374/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 39,500-42,000/mt ($1,380-1,467/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-April shipments.

$1 = NTD 28.63
