Another rise in Turkish ship scrap market

As compared to Wednesday, February 17, most Izmir-based mills have raised their ship scrap purchase quotations by a further $5-10/mt, while one local producer has kept its prices stable. As of today, the general range of ship scrap purchase quotations in Turkey has increased from $380-390/mt to $385-395/mt.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
