Another increase in Turkish ship scrap market

The uptrend of the Turkish ship scrap market has continued today, March 29, with two Izmir-based mills increasing their ship scrap purchase prices by $5-7/mt. Other producers have decided to keep their prices stable, while Cebitas is still out of the market. As a result, the general range of prices in the Turkish ship scrap market is now at $380-392/mt, $2/mt higher on the upper end as compared to Friday, March 26.
