Another increase in Turkish ship scrap market

Today, March 3, three Izmir-based Turkish mills have increased their ship scrap purchase quotations by $5-10/mt, pushing the upper end up to $445/mt, while others have decided to keep their prices stable. As a result, the general range of ship scrap purchase quotations in Turkey has increased from $420-440/mt to $420-445/mt.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
