Another decrease in Turkish ship scrap prices

Today, January 26, three Izmir-based Turkish mills have reduced their ship scrap purchase quotations by $5/mt as compared to the levels recorded yesterday, January 25. Currently, the general range of ship scrap purchase quotations in Turkey has decreased by $5/mt on the upper end to the range of $415-430/mt. Market players state that the ship scrap flow is still at healthy levels.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
