Another decrease in Turkey’s ship scrap market

Another revision in ship scrap purchases prices by mills in Turkey’s Izmir region has been announced today, July 2. Two mills have reduced their ship scrap quotations by $2-5/mt, while the other two producers have kept their prices unchanged. As a result, ship scrap purchase quotations in Turkey have decreased by $2/m on the lower end to $240-251/mt, for delivery to mill by truck.
