Wire rod prices from Turkey’s Aegean region decrease $25/mt

SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a producer in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5-16 mm wire rod are at $450/mt ex-works in Izmir, while its offers for 20MnB4 grade are at $555/mt ex-works, both excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payments. In addition, the producer’s offers for 5.5-16 mm wire rod are at $460/mt delivered to Istanbul and its offers for 20MnB4 grade are at $565/mt delivered to Istanbul, both excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payments. The offers in question are $25/mt lower than the producer’s previous list prices announced on February 19.
