Wire rod export prices maintained in Brazil

The last deal for Brazilian wire rod exports of the mesh grade was closed at $600/mt, FOB conditions, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

The price remains stable for the second week, following a small decline from a range previously reaching up to $610/mt FOB.

In the domestic market, wire rod of the mesh grade is sold by distributors at an estimated BRL 4,200/mt ($1,296/mt), ex works, full taxes except IPI, against BRL 4,000/mt last week.
