Weak demand in local Turkish rebar market

Domestic rebar prices in Turkey have remained unchanged since February 23 due to the sideways movement of the price levels recorded in import scrap deals since the weekend. The local Turkish rebar market had declined last week amid the strengthening of the Turkish lira against the US dollar and due to weaker demand. Demand is slack at the start of the current week.
