Spanish rebar export prices have remained stable over the past week and are still in the range of €510-520/mt ($597-608/mt) FOB. Market sources state that price inquiries for Spanish rebar are being made by central European and US-based buyers, though demand is still weak. Additionally, similar to the rebar export offers of Italy and Greece, Spain’s rebar offers to the US are also closer to €510/mt ($597/mt) FOB which is the lower end of the price range, but no new rebar deal from Spain to the US has been heard over the past week.
