US buyers start to show demand for Spanish rebar

Price inquiries for Spanish rebar in the international markets have increased over the past week. Market sources state that US buyers have started to show demand for Spanish rebar in the given period.

It is reported that Spanish rebar producers export prices have remained stable week on week at €490-500/mt ($564-575/mt) FOB. Meanwhile, although SteelOrbis has not received confirmation yet, it has been heard that a Spanish rebar producer has concluded a sale to the US at €470-475/mt ($541-546/mt) FOB.
