As of August 5, UAE-based steel producer Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) has announced unchanged rebar prices for September output at AED 1,953/mt ($532/mt) ex-works, excluding five percent VAT. The prices in question have remained stable as compared to ESI’s domestic rebar prices for August output announced in the middle of July.
