It is observed that Turkish mills are still receiving wire rod demand from the international markets as they mostly try to keep their export offers stable with buyers trying to exert pressure on prices. Turkish steelmakers’ wire rod export offers have decreased by $5/mt on the lower end over the past week and they are now in a larger range of $515-540/mt FOB. Meanwhile, buyers’ firm bids are observed to be at $505-510/mt FOB.
