International demand for Turkish wire rod exports has been at low levels over the past week. Since international buyers are unwilling to carry their inventories over to next year, they have adopted a wait-and-see stance. A Turkish wire rod mill is reported to have concluded a wire rod deal for small tonnages to Israel in the given week at $530/mt FOB, including size extra. Meanwhile, SteelOrbis has been informed that Turkish wire rod producers’ export offers have moved sideways week on week in the range of $510-520/mt FOB.
