SteelOrbis has been informed that Turkish steel producers' rebar offers to the Yemeni market have remained unchanged over the past week in the range of $465-470/mt CFR, on theoretical weight basis.  Last week, when a Turkish steel producer concluded a rebar deal to Yemen for 15,000 mt in the same price range, it was thought that sales might continue for similar volumes in the price range in question. Indeed, last week another Turkish producer subsequently concluded a rebar deal for around 25,000 mt at the given price levels.

On the other hand, Chinese market players are still out of the market due to the Chinese New Year and so no new rebar offers from China to the Yemeni market have been heard.
