SteelOrbis is informed that Turkish mills are offering rebar for export to destinations other than the US and Persian Gulf markets at $1,270-1,300/mt FOB on actual weight basis for September/October shipments.

Turkish mills have reduced their rebar export offers due to the softening in the European rebar market caused by the sluggishness in end-user demand and the approaching holiday season, and also due to the slowdown in import purchases observed in the Middle Eastern markets.
