Over the past week, a few Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have mainly settled their offers at $630/mt FOB, versus $610/mt FOB previously, against the backdrop of costlier energy. Currently, official ex-Turkey equal angle offers are mostly standing at $630/mt FOB, for October-early November shipment. According to sources, only a few re-rollers are applying aggressive pricing strategies and are quoting around $610/mt FOB depending on the region and quantity. The general sentiment on the demand side is still negative.

The SteelOrbis daily Turkish billet import reference price is available at $500-520/mt, stable over the same period.
