Today, July 29, official wire rod prices in Turkey have increased by $5/mt in the Izmir region, while remaining unchanged in the rest of the country, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations, as compared to Tuesday, July 22.
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are at around $550-560/mt ex-works, also up by $5/mt on the lower end over the same period, for cash payment and for serious buyers only.
One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its official wire rod price at $585/mt ex-works today. Additional discounts are applicable for serious buyers.
