Turkish integrated steel mill Kardemir has closed its domestic rebar sales in its local market as of today, July 9, having sold approximately 30,250 mt at TRY 2,870/mt ($418/mt) ex-works.
“Local traders have restocked for possible sales although the exchange rate is relatively unchanged since the rebar sales announcement,” one source mentioned.
Prices exclude 18 percent VAT.
