Turkish mill Kardemir revises its wire rod price

Today, July 7, Turkish integrated mill Kardemir has revised its wire rod sales prices, having also announced new rebar and billet prices on the same day.

Accordingly, Kardemir’s price for 5.5 mm SAE 1008-1010 grade wire rod has been set at TRY 3,145/mt ($458/mt) ex-works, while its 6-56 mm wire rod of the same steel grade is offered at TRY 3,100/mt ($452/mt) ex-works, down by TRY 45/mt ($7-8/mt) compared to two weeks ago. The abovementioned offers are valid for orders for 500 mt and higher, with 25 percent on cash payment basis, with 25 percent each on 30-day, 60-day and 90-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral.

Prices exclude 18 percent VAT.
