Turkish integrated steel mill Kardemir has opened its domestic rebar sales as of today, July 21. The new offer price has been set at TRY 2,990 /mt ($436/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 120/mt ($18/mt) from the previous price. The offer is valid for 500 mt and above orders, with 25 percent on cash payment basis, with 25 percent each on 30-day, 60-day and 90-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral.
The producer’s previous domestic rebar sales were announced on July 7 and closed on July 9.
Prices exclude 18 percent VAT.
