Turkish steel producer Kardemir has opened its domestic rebar sales as per its new price list dated today, October 22.
Accordingly, Kardemir has increased its domestic sales price for rebar to the level of TRY 2,450/mt ($419/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, for 500 mt and above orders, with 25 percent on cash payment basis, with 25 percent each on 30-day, 60-day and 90-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral. Additionally, the producer has announced a TRY 30 + 18 percent VAT discount on the price of TRY 2,450/mt ex-works for purchases of 500 mt rebar and higher.
Compared to the price list issued on October 8, the producer's rebar prices have increased by TRY 85/mt, while prices on US dollar basis have moved up by $12/mt due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate.
