Turkish mill Kardemir opens its domestic rebar sales

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has opened its domestic rebar sales as per its new price list dated today, March 28, having closed them on February 14. Accordingly, Kardemir has opened its domestic sales for rebar at the level of TRY 2,759/mt ($494/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, for 1,000 mt and above orders, with 25 percent on cash payment basis, with 25 percent each on 30-day, 60-day and 90-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral.

Compared to the price list issued on February 13, the producer's rebar prices have increased by TRY 43/mt and prices on US dollar basis have moved down by $23/mt due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate.
