Turkish mill Kardemir opens its domestic rebar sales

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has openned its domestic rebar sales as per its new price list dated today, February 6, having closed them on January, 28. Accordingly, Kardemir has opened its domestic sales for rebar at the level of TRY 2,574 TRY/mt ($494/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, for 1,000 mt and above orders, with 25 percent on cash payment basis, with 25 percent each on 30-day, 60-day and 90-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral. Compared to the price list issued on January 23, the producer's rebar prices have increased by TRY 158/mt and prices on US dollar basis have moved up by $42/mt due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate.
