Accordingly, the producer’s rebar price has decreased by TRY 73 ($7/mt) since late December to TRY 2,610/mt ($445/mt) ex-works, excluding 18 percent VAT. The offer is valid for 500 mt and above orders, with 25 percent on cash payment basis, with 25 percent each on 30-day, 60-day and 90-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral.

Other producers in Turkey are mostly quoting rebar for their local market at TRY 2,602-2,664/mt ($443-445/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT. As a result, Kardemir has announced its local rebar price within the lower end of the general range. No sales have been reported yet.
