Turkey’s integrated steel mill Kardemir has revised its domestic rebar sales prices on January 21.

Accordingly, the producer’s offer level has decreased by TRY 25/mt ($8/mt) compared to last week to TRY 2,585/mt ($437/mt) ex-works. The offer is valid for 500 mt and above orders, with 25 percent on cash payment basis, with 25 percent each on 30-day, 60-day and 90-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral.

As a result, Kardemir has announced its domestic rebar price at the lower end of the general market range as other producers in Turkey are mostly quoting the product for the local market at TRY 2,585-2,644/mt ($437-447/mt) ex-works. No sales from Kardemir have been reported yet.

Prices exclude 18 percent VAT.
