Turkish mill Icdas revises its longs prices as week begins

Today, November 23, Turkish mill Icdas has raised its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 140/mt to TRY 4,640/mt ($505/mt) ex-works, while its dollar-based rebar quotations have increased by $3/mt due to exchange rate fluctuations, both as compared to November 20. Meanwhile, the steelmaker’s wire rod price price has increased by TRY 130/mt in the same period and is currently at TRY 5,390/mt ($587/mt) ex-works. The producer’s wire rod price has remained unchanged on US dollar basis.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
