Turkish mill Icdas reduces rebar quotations on lira basis

Today, November 20, Turkish mill Icdas has reduced its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 70/mt to TRY 4,500/mt ($502/mt) ex-works, while its dollar-based rebar quotations have increased by $2/mt due to the slight change in the Turkish lira-US dollar exchange rate, both as compared to November 18. Meanwhile, the steelmaker’s wire rod price prices have increased by TRY 10/mt or $11/mt in the same period and are currently at TRY 5,260/mt ($587/mt) ex-works.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
