Turkish mill Icdas raises longs prices amid costlier scrap

Today, February 12, Turkish mill Icdas has raised its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 70/mt to TRY 5,030/mt ex-works amid costlier scrap, while the US dollar equivalent of the offer price has increased by $10/mt compared to Wednesday, February 10, to $605/mt ex-works. Meanwhile, the steelmaker has also issued its wire rod price at TRY 5,820/mt ($700/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 100/mt ($13/mt) over the same period.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
