Turkish mill Icdas increases its wire rod price

Today, November 27, Turkish mill Icdas has kept its domestic rebar price in the local currency at TRY 4,860/mt ($526/mt) ex-works, while its prices on US dollar basis has risen by $11/mt compared to Wednesday, November 25, amid currency fluctuations. Meanwhile, the steelmaker’s wire rod price price in dollars has also risen, increasing by $15/mt to ($610/mt) ex-works. The producer’s wire rod price is only available on US dollar basis. It has stopped giving wire rod quotations on lira basis as of today.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
