Turkish mill Icdas hikes domestic longs prices further in local currency

Today, October 27 Turkish mill Icdas has hiked its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 40/mt to TRY 4,410/mt ex-works, while its wire rod price has risen by TRY 30/mt to TRY 5,170/mt ex-works. However, due to currency fluctuations, on US dollar-basis the rebar price has decreased by $1/mt to $459/mt ex-works, while the wire rod price has slid by $3/mt compared to the previous level to $538/mt ex-works.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
