Turkish merchant bar export prices stable

Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have kept their official equal angle export prices unchanged at $590-610/mt FOB, for late July-August shipment. A few merchant bar producers are applying an aggressive pricing policy in order to generate sales and are offering close to the lower end of the abovementioned price range.

The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $445-490/mt, also remaining stable over the past week.
