Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have cut their official equal angle export prices by $10/mt to $590-610/mt FOB, for July-early August shipment. Most European buyers have already completed their orders for the quota period beginning as of July 1. Moreover, demand in the Middle East has slowed down due to hot weather conditions.
The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $445-490/mt, versus $450-485/mt CFR a week ago.
