Turkish merchant bar export prices increase

Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have raised their official equal angle export prices by $10/mt to $610-620/mt FOB against the backdrop of costlier import billet, for late August shipment. A few merchant bar producers are still applying aggressive pricing policies in order to generate sales and are offering close to the lower end of the abovementioned price range.

The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $465-500/mt, also rising by $10/mt over the past week.
