Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have cut their official equal angle export prices by $10/mt to $600-620/mt FOB, for May shipment, against the backdrop of weaker import scrap prices and international sluggish demand.
A few merchant bar re-rollers are even offering slightly below $600/mt FOB, depending on the size and the region, for serious buyers only.
The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $455-480/mt CFR, down by $15/mt week on week.
