SteelOrbis has heard that Turkish rolling mills are offering angles for export at $1,210-1,230/mt FOB on actual weight basis for late August/early September shipments. In addition, flat bars are being offered at $1,220-1,240/mt FOB, 80-100-120 mm IPE is being offered at $1,270-1,290/mt FOB, IPN-UPN are being offered at $1,220-1,240/mt FOB and 80-100-120 mm IPE AA is being offered at $1,280-1,300/mt FOB - all on actual weight basis and also for late August/early September shipments.

The levels of the Turkish mills' merchant bar export offers have this week continued to decrease. The ongoing price decreases in finished steel products and raw materials have been contributing to the softening in billet prices. The prices above may differ in the sales price levels of traders (with previously taken positions) which are lower than the mills' levels.
