Today, December 16, official wire rod prices in Turkey have remained unchanged over the past week against the backdrop of ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand.
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are standing at $570-590/mt ex-work and a few Turkish mills are applying additional discounts to generate cash as the year is about to end, for cash payment and for serious buyers only.
One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its official wire rod price at $585/mt ex-works today. Additional discounts are applicable depending on the tonnage.
