Today, December 2, official wire rod prices in Turkey have increased by $5-10/mt over the past week against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and firm import scrap prices
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are standing at $575-590/mt ex-works, versus $570-580/mt ex-works last week, for cash payment and for serious buyers only. However, the higher end seems a bit high under the current market conditions.
One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its official wire rod price at $585/mt ex-works today, December 2.
