Today, December 30, official wire rod prices in Turkey have mainly fallen by $5/mt amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand week on week. One Iskenderun- based mill has closed its wire rod sales and is quoting prices on depending on individual orders.
Most buyers are handling their end year financial reports and in a wait and see stance.
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are varied at $560-580/mt ex-works.
