Today, March 23, local Turkish wire rod list prices mostly have moved down by an $10-20/mt depending on the mill amid the negative mood in the demand side contributed by the rapid currency fluctuations and silence in the wire rod export market. In the local market, Turkish mills are mainly offering for May deliveries. Sources report, wire rod buyers exert pressure for further discounts.
