During the past week, domestic wire rod price in Turkey have moved up by $5-10/mt to $505-520/mt ex-works due to the strong performance of Turkish suppliers’ export sales.

Meanwhile, demand for domestic welded wire mesh is still at low levels due to the sluggishness in Turkey’s construction sector. On the other hand, domestic wire rod prices in Turkey’s Iskenderun region have indicated higher rises as compared to other regions due to the uptrend of global iron ore quotations.
