As of today, June 28, Turkish domestic wire rod prices have decreased by $50-80/mt to $620-680/mt ex-works over the past week, for July-August deliveries, amid the negative sentiment in the import scrap and billet segments, while a limited tonnage is available from stocks depending on the size and quality. One Iskenderun-based mill cut its official wire rod prices by $30/mt yesterday and by $50/mt today, to $620/mt ex-works, in line with Kardemir’s recent price decrease.
