Today, May 24, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have decreased by TRY 30/mt in the Iskenderun and Izmir regions with minor changes on US dollar basis. In the meantime, offer prices have remained unchanged in the Marmara and Karabuk regions. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey are now at TRY 7,270-7,330/mt or $734-740/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Icdas has kept its rebar price at $750/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate. Moreover, most mills in the Marmara region are currently offering at $750-755/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate.
In the Izmir region, Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has opened its rebar sales at $750/mt ex-works.
In the Iskenderun region, Bastug Metallurgy has opened its rebar sales at TRY 7,600/mt ($768/mt) ex-works.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has started the week at TRY 7,350/mt ($742/mt) ex-works.
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt Metallurgy has closed its rebar sales until July 1 due to its ongoing export deliveries.
