Today, November 29, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have mostly risen by TRY 50-100/mt with just minor changes on US dollar basis amid the positive sentiment in the import scrap and billet segments. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 14,250-14,500/mt or $648-659/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Icdas has kept its rebar price at $660/mt ex-works today. The prices of most mills in the Izmir and Marmara regions have risen by $10/mt to $660-670/mt ex-works. According to sources, one Izmir-based mill succeeded in selling a small tonnage of rebar at $645/mt ex-works earlier today and revised its rebar price to $650/mt ex-works in the afternoon.
