Prices in the local Turkish rebar market are still continuing to rise. Although end-user demand in the local market is currently not so strong, the gradually increasing price levels in recent scrap deals are considered to be the main reason behind the uptrend in the rebar prices in this country.
Accordingly, the current rebar prices in the Turkish domestic market are as follows:
Region | Product | Price |
Marmara | 8 mm | TRY 950/mt (approx. $507/mt) |
Marmara | 12 mm | TRY 930/mt (approx. $496/mt) |
Iskenderun | 8 mm | TRY 940/mt (approx. $502/mt) |
Iskenderun | 12 mm | TRY 930/mt (approx. $496/mt) |
Izmir | 8 mm | TRY 950/mt (approx. $507/mt) |
Izmir | 12 mm | TRY 930/mt (approx. $496/mt) |
The above TRY prices are ex-works, on actual weight basis and including VAT, while the US$ prices are ex-works/ex-warehouse, on actual weight basis and excluding VAT.
