The latest billet export offers ex-Turkey are at around $500-505/mt FOB Turkish port for September shipments.

The fact that the decline in CIS prices has stopped is providing support for Turkish producers. In addition, the good situation as regards long prices in the Turkish domestic market has created firm billet demand from domestic rolling mills. This situation allows Turkish producers to be less aggressive in making billet offers for export.
