Although Turkey’s wire rod sales to its traditional export markets have been continuing, it is observed that international demand for Turkish wire rod remains on the  weak side. Meanwhile, with the influence of the fall seen in import scrap and billet quotations in Turkey, Turkish wire rod producers’ export offers have declined by an average of $15/mt week on week to $580-590/mt FOB.
